Mayde Creek came out on top against Morton Ranch on Friday thanks in part to Jamaal Jones Jr's efforts. Jones Jr was dynamite, rushing for 102 yards and a pair of scores on only 11 carries. He also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Mayde Creek is 3-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.

Coming up, Jones Jr and Mayde Creek will welcome Cinco Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jones Jr will face off against Marcus Gadlin, the Cougars' star running back.
