Basketball Recap: Red Bay Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Red Bay needed a changed in momentum after dropping three straight games and they got it from Khalil Luster. The Red Bay Tigers walked away with a 57-50 victory over the Lafayette Commodores on Saturday thanks in part to Luster, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 16 boards. He has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last ten times he's played.

Red Bay's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Lafayette, they moved to 9-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Red Bay will venture away from home to challenge Lamar County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lafayette, they will head out to face off against New Hope at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. New Hope has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
