Kam Brown was dynamite on Friday, striking out nine batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk). As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her fourth in a row with seven or more strikeouts. On the year, she has an ERA of 2.59 over 27 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Brown and Cosby will be playing at home against Clover Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
