Basketball Recap: Pine Valley Central Takes a Loss

After flying high against West Valley Central last Tuesday, Pine Valley Central came back down to earth. The Pine Valley Central Panthers came up short against the Chautauqua Lake Eagles on Thursday, falling 76-53. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-40 back in January.

Pine Valley Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Chautauqua Lake, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers challenge the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pine Valley Central is facing West Valley Central at the right time seeing as West Valley Central is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Chautauqua Lake, they are taking a road trip to take on Southwestern at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
