Soccer Game Preview: Blue Springs vs. Staley

The Blue Springs Wildcats will square off against the Staley Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Blue Springs' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 11 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Thursday, Blue Springs didn't have quite enough to beat Lee's Summit West and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Blue Springs have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Staley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Blue Springs South. While losing is never fun, Staley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 101st, while Blue Springs South are ranked 18th).

Blue Springs' loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Staley, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
