On Monday Timberline's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 10-9 W against the Peninsula Seahawks. Give the Blazers' hitters some serious credit: that high-scoring performance was actually the fewest runs they've scored all season.

Nevaeh Haagen made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-5.
