Palmetto waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Powdersville Patriots as they made off with a 12-6 victory. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Carrigan Holbert was incredible, firing off two home runs while going 2-for-5. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Graelyn Adams was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Holbert wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Palmetto kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive games.
