Volleyball Game Preview: Pymatuning Valley Lakers vs. St. John Fighting Herald

Pymatuning Valley is 0-10 against St. John since September of 2015 but things could change on Monday. The Lakers will host the Fighting Herald at 6:00 p.m.

Pymatuning Valley came up short against Cardinal on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18, 25-12.

Meanwhile, St. John got the win against Harding on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

St. John found their leader in sophomore Breelyn Graham, who had 12 assists and six digs. Graham has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more assists the last four times she's played.

St. John was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in nine consecutive matches.

St. John has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for Pymatuning Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.
