Baseball Recap: Locust Grove Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Locust Grove can now relate to. They fell 10-5 to the North Oconee Titans on Wednesday. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Locust Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 17-12. As for North Oconee, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-6.

Locust Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Oconee, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Ware County at 4:30 p.m. The last three games the Gators have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
