Jackson Peavy put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2024 on Friday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances.
