Softball Recap: Donovan Catholic Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Donovan Catholic couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Mount St. Dominic Academy Lions by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Griffins of the 5-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Donovan Catholic saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Christina Ginex, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.
