It's playoff time, and Halls had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Knoxville Central Bobcats by a score of 28-21 on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Red Devils, who have now won five contests in a row.

Halls got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Amari Lethgo out in front who threw for 267 yards and three TDs, and also punched in one score on the ground. Lethgo's passing game has become a key predictor of the Red Devils' success: the team is 6-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 2-3 otherwise. Brody Rogers helped Lethgo out on the ground, picking up 116 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Despite the loss, Knoxville Central still got an impressive performance from Kaden Long, who rushed for 118 yards and one score, and also threw for 170 yards and one TD.

Halls' record now sits at 8-4. As for Knoxville Central, they moved to 10-3 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Halls will face off against Sevier County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Smoky Bears' defense has only allowed 12.9 points per game this season, so the Red Devils' offense will have their work cut out for them. Knoxville Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
