The Dayton Pirates will be playing at home against the Siuslaw Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Dayton put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Amity 44-6 at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-0.

Dayton had a senior duo take command as Zach Smith rushed for 164 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry and Boston Hodges rushed for 70 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries.

Meanwhile, Siuslaw's three-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Pleasant Hill 51-7 at home.

Dayton's victory was their seventh straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 9-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.9 points per game. As for Siuslaw, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
