Northwest Christian School entered their tilt with Kettle Falls on Tuesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 15-4 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Crusaders also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Northwest Christian School got a massive performance out of Preston Mortlock, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4. Chase Mortlock was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-5.

Preston wasn't the only one making solid contact: Northwest Christian School kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Northwest Christian School pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Kettle Falls, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Northwest Christian School will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bulldogs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
