Basketball Recap: Skyline's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Tuesday

After losing to Dexter the last time they met, Skyline decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Skyline Eagles walked away with a 45-36 victory over the Dexter Dreadnaughts on Tuesday. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 77th, while the Dreadnaughts are ranked 208th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Skyline is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Dexter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.

Skyline has already played their next contest (against Bedford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Dexter will take on Saline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
