Basketball Recap: San Francisco Christian Comes Up Short

San Francisco Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 50-23 defeat at the hands of the KIPP Esperanza Eagles.

Eddie Whiteside continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for KIPP Esperanza, putting up 14 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Anthony Bustos, who posted nine points.

San Francisco Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for KIPP Esperanza, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-7.

San Francisco Christian will challenge Pescadero at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for KIPP Esperanza, they will take on East Palo Alto Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. KIPP Esperanza is facing East Palo Alto Academy at the right time seeing as East Palo Alto Academy is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
