Basketball Game Preview: Warren Central Dragons vs. South Warren Spartans

Warren Central has won seven straight games at home (dating back to last season), while South Warren has won seven straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Warren Central Dragons will welcome the South Warren Spartans at 7:30 p.m. Warren Central knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully South Warren likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Warren Central took their game with ease, bagging an 83-42 win over University Heights. The Dragons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, South Warren suffered their closest loss since February 12th on Friday. They fell just short of Kirkwood by a score of 56-53. The match marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

South Warren's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Warren Central, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.

Warren Central beat South Warren 62-50 in their previous matchup back in February. Will Warren Central repeat their success, or does South Warren have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
