Volleyball Recap: Hyde Park Comes Up Short

Hyde Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the New Braunfels Thunder Homeschool.

Hyde Park was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made New Braunfels Thunder work for it, especially in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-14, 24-26, 30-28.

Hyde Park's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for New Braunfels Thunder, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Hyde Park will challenge Round Rock Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. New Braunfels Thunder has already played their next match (against Incarnate Word Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
