Liberty never got on the board in their matchup on Thursday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Deer Valley on Wednesday. They blew past the Wolverines 41-0. The Lions have beaten the Wolverines the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Wolverines has come to flipping the script.

Liberty's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Archbishop Riordan, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 4-8.
