Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Morristown couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 11-1 to the Morris Knolls Golden Eagles on Friday. The Colonials' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Morristown's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Morris Knolls, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-4.

Morristown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Morris Knolls, they will square off against Watchung Hills Regional on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Golden Eagles 2.8, the Warriors 1.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
