Soccer Game Preview: Village Christian Academy vs. Fayetteville Christian

The Village Christian Academy Knights are taking a road trip to face off against the Fayetteville Christian Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Village Christian Academy managed to slip by The O'Neal School the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Village Christian Academy lost 5-1 to The O'Neal School on Tuesday. The Knights' defeat signaled the end of their undefeated season.

Meanwhile, Fayetteville Christian came up short against Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill on Friday and fell 4-2.

Londyn Harris and Lacey Anderson scored both of Fayetteville Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Fayetteville Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Village Christian Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
