It was a good run, but North Hall unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-match winning streak on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Gainesville Red Elephants. The Trojans were not able to make up for their loss to the Red Elephants from their previous meeting back in August of 2023.

North Hall couldn't get the W, but boy did they fight for it: two sets took extra rallies. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 27-25, 26-24.

Their offense was headlined by Lilly Smallwood and Abbie Hanlon, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Katie Wells and her 14 assists. Finally, Emma Wiley kept North Hall's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

North Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 24-13. As for Gainesville, they moved to 20-12 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

As of now, neither North Hall nor the Red Elephants have any future games scheduled.
