Boyd-Buchanan made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,229 from 8,711. The improvement was largely due to a 22-21 victory over Silverdale Academy last week.
Grace Baptist Academy led A District 5 in scoring this week by notching 37 points on Copper Basin. Will Slack ran for 119 yards and caught 2 passes for 56 yards during the win.
Grace Baptist Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Golden Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Issac Spencer has thrown for 385 yards and 4 touchdowns this season, while Slack has 8 catches for 193 yards.
DeQuan Hughes broke off the longest rushing play in the league this week with a 55-yard run against the Cougars. Hughes finished the game with 92 yards on the ground as the Golden Eagles bested Copper Basin.
