Volleyball Recap: Costa Mesa's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Costa Mesa had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They put the hurt on the Estancia Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win. The Mustangs not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since August 12th (when they won 3-0).

Costa Mesa never let Estancia on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17, 27-25.

Costa Mesa's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Estancia, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Costa Mesa and Estancia will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Mustangs are set to challenge their familiar foe Laguna Hills at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Estancia will face off against rival La Quinta at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
