Basketball Game Preview: Saint Andrew's Scots vs. Pine Crest Panthers

The Saint Andrew's Scots will venture away from home to face off against the Pine Crest Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Saint Andrew's knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully Pine Crest likes a good challenge.

Saint Andrew's picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against Pembroke Pines Charter by a score of 64-52.

Meanwhile, Pine Crest was able to grind out a solid victory over South Plantation on Friday, taking the game 61-48. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Pine Crest's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Saint Andrew's, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.

Everything came up roses for Saint Andrew's against Pine Crest in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 98-68 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Scots since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
