Basketball Recap: BASIS Flagstaff Takes a Loss

BASIS Flagstaff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Fredonia Lynx, falling 45-5. The game marked the Yetis' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Abigail Papez was BASIS Flagstaff's leading scorer, having posted four points. Jasmine Hall held things down on the boards with five rebounds.

BASIS Flagstaff's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Fredonia, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

BASIS Flagstaff didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-12 loss against El Capitan on the 14th. Fredonia will take on Beaver Dam in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fredonia will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
