Basketball Recap: Haskell Takes a Loss

Haskell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a hard 51-34 fall against the Morris Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Haymakers of the 70-46 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2020.

Haskell's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Morris, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Haskell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-39 loss against Hulbert on the 4th. As for Morris, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 46-39 defeat against Eufaula on the 4th.
