Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Honeoye Falls-Lima). They were the clear victors by a 17-3 margin over the Wayland-Cohocton Eagles on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Jacob Weber was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with one run and one double.

In other batting news, Owen Kearney was a standout: he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Harrison Houle was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.

Honeoye Falls-Lima always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .615. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
