Basketball Recap: Jim Hill Takes a Loss

If Jim Hill was feeling good fresh off their 70-41 takedown of Hazlehurst last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Jim Hill Tigers took a 54-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raymond Rangers.

Jim Hill's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Raymond, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Jim Hill Tigers duke it out with the Clarksdale Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Raymond, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-38 victory against Yazoo County on the 21st.
