Canyon is 6-1 against El Dorado since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Comanches are taking a road trip to take on the Golden Hawks at 6:00 p.m. El Dorado took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Canyon, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, Canyon got the win against Sunny Hills by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Comanches.

Canyon's got stronger as the match went on, holding Sunny Hills to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 25-17.

Meanwhile, El Dorado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Orange Lutheran, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21, 25-13.

El Dorado's loss dropped their record down to 10-19. As for Canyon, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5.

Canyon took their win against El Dorado in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Comanches since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
