Volleyball Recap: Rocky Mountain Lutheran Comes Up Short

Rocky Mountain Lutheran lost against Flatirons Academy on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Bison.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-14, 25-11.

Izzy Curtis paced Rocky Mountain Lutheran's offense, picking up three kills. Curtis got some help from Jadyn Morgan and her three assists. Finally, Curtis was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Rocky Mountain Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Flatirons Academy, their win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

The future could be bright for both Rocky Mountain Lutheran and Flatirons Academy: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Eagles will try to hand Belleview Christian their fourth-straight loss when the two meet at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Flatirons Academy will look to extend Loveland Classical's three-game losing streak when they meet at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
