Volleyball Recap: Cathedral Triumphs

Cathedral posted their closest victory since March 22nd on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Lincoln-Way Central Knights 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Fighting Irish.

Jaden Greenwell paced Cathedral's offense, picking up 13 kills. Greenwell got some help from Nick Whitley and his 29 assists. Jake Werne controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Cathedral's win bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Lincoln-Way Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-11.

Coming up, Cathedral will face off against Franklin Community at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln-Way Central, they will take on Bradley-Bourbonnais at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
