Basketball Recap: Lubbock T Titans vs. Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool Warriors
Lubbock T extended their losing streak to six on Saturday, dropping them down to 12-15. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-49 heartbreaker at the hands of the Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool Warriors. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2022.
As for Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-12. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.9 points on average over those games.
Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool found their leader in freshman Ady Huston, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 13 boards. Huston has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Kaleigh Twillie was another key player, putting up 12 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.
Lubbock T does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Tournament Opponent on the 26th.
