Hayesville is 0-10 against Robbinsville since March of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets will square off against the Black Knights at 4:30 p.m. Hayesville has given up an average of 12.3 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Micalynn McClure put in work no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up just two earned (and ten unearned) runs off nine hits. McClure was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

McClure wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Mallory Peck, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Brianna Patterson also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Robbinsville had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it four last Monday. Everything went their way against the Rockets as they made off with a 7-1 victory. Considering the Black Knights have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Naomi Taylor spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, Dreylee Webster was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and one double. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexie Williams, who went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Robbinsville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .433. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as A.C. Reynolds only posted a batting average of .208.

Robbinsville pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Hayesville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
