Soccer Recap: West Stokes Takes a Loss

West Stokes entered their matchup against Mount Airy on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Wildcats lost 4-1 to the Granite Bears. While losing is never fun, West Stokes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 331st, while Mount Airy are ranked 152nd).

West Stokes' loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Mount Airy, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.
