Basketball Game Preview: Millry Wildcats vs. Southern Choctaw Indians

Millry and Southern Choctaw are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Millry Wildcats will welcome the Southern Choctaw Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Friday, Millry was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 51-47 to McIntosh. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Southern Choctaw's undefeated season came to an end after five games on Tuesday. They took a blow against Jackson, falling 95-42. The loss was the Indians' first of the season.

Millry will need focus on slowing down Lamarrance Thompson, one of several Southern Choctaw players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Braylen Jones, who had 12 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Southern Choctaw fell to 5-1. As for Millry, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
