Basketball Recap: Tigard Takes a Loss

Tigard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They were beaten by the Tualatin Timberwolves 96-20. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 201st, while the Timberwolves are ranked first).

Tigard's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Tualatin, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 20-1.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers duke it out with the Lions at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Tualatin, they will challenge St. Mary's Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
