Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Father Lopez). They strolled past the Halifax Academy Knights with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 51-35. The Green Wave didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Addy Fulton continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 17 points. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Fallon Orr, who posted 11 points.

Father Lopez's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-18. As for Halifax Academy, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Father Lopez will head out to take on Seabreeze at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Father Lopez has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Halifax Academy has already played their next game (against Leesburg Christian Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
