Josh Mandel put up the most stolen bases he's had since back in May of 2024 on Thursday. He wasn't messing around, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. The game was his third straight with at least one stolen base.

Mandel and Calhoun will head out to square off against Masters at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sadly, Mandel's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Cougars' six-game streak of wins at home. With the streak broken, Mandel and the Cougars surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Saturday's match.
