Winamac can bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They skirted past the Tri-Township Tigers 3-2. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Winamac took Tri-Township into a fifth set where they got it done with a nine-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-22, 25-17, 21-25, 15-6.

Ava Malchow paced Winamac's offense, picking up 16 kills. Malchow got some help from Abby Keller and her 37 assists. Grace Roth controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Winamac picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 4-15. As for Tri-Township, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Winamac didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Triton on the 23rd. Tri-Township has also already played their next game (against Washington Township), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
