After losing to Lafayette Christian the last time they met, Central Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Crusaders walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Cougars on Tuesday.

Central Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-18, 25-23, 25-11.

Central Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Lafayette Christian, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 8-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Central Christian and Trinity Christian School of Griffin will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lafayette Christian, they will challenge CrossPointe Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
