After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Valley Christian, Whittier Christian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Maranatha Minutemen 3-0. The win was some much needed relief for the Heralds as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
While Whittier Christian might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Maranatha scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-19, 25-23.
Whittier Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-18. As for Maranatha, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.
As of now, neither Whittier Christian nor the Minutemen have any future games scheduled.
