Ezekiel Academy is a perfect 7-0 against Heritage Christian Academy since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Ezekiel Academy Knights will look to defend their home field against the Heritage Christian Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Friday, Ezekiel Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Tuscaloosa Home Educators and fell 3-2.

Ezekiel Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brennan Hancock, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Heritage Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of East Central HomeSchool by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Ezekiel Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Heritage Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in April of 2023, winning 8-5. Does Ezekiel Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Heritage Christian Academy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
