Volleyball Recap: Greeley Central Wildcats vs. Legacy Lightning

The Greeley Central Wildcats came up short against the Legacy Lightning on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20, 25-15.

Greeley Central's offense was headlined by DeAngelo Velarde and Adrien Zamarripa, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Jonathan Chumacero and his 16 assists.

Elisha Thao had an outrageously good game for Legacy as he had 16 digs and three assists. That's the most digs Thao has posted since March 1st.

Coincidentally, Greeley Central and Legacy will both be playing Fossil Ridge the next time they take the court. Greeley Central will host Fossil Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Legacy will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on April 8.
