King took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Ray, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Mustangs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Texans on Saturday, sneaking past 10-8. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Mustangs as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

King's victory bumped their record up to 5-16. As for Ray, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.

King will welcome Alice at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Coyotes have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.86 runs per game on average), something the Mustangs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Ray, they will venture away from home to face off against Corpus Christi Moody at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Texans are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
