Basketball Game Preview: Kennett Indians vs. Dexter Bearcats

The Kennett Indians will face off against the Dexter Bearcats at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Kennett has given up an average of 62.9 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Kennett is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Perryville by a score of 78-65 on Monday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Indians as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Dexter came up short against Poplar Bluff on Friday and fell 64-57. The Bearcats haven't had much luck with the Mules recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Dexter now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Kennett, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 9-17.

Kennett came up short against Dexter in their previous meeting back in February, falling 68-60. Can Kennett avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
