Basketball Game Preview: Croatan Cougars vs. Topsail Pirates

The Croatan Cougars will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Topsail Pirates at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Croatan is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They took a 59-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Topsail on Tuesday.

Topsail had a senior duo take command as Mason French posted 13 points and five rebounds and Luke Redifer put up 12 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Carano, who had 13 points.

Topsail smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Croatan only pulled down nine offensive rebounds.
