Volleyball Recap: Wheeling Takes a Loss

Wheeling lost against Prospect back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Knights.

While Wheeling had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19.

Wheeling's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Prospect, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Wheeling wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Rolling Meadows on the 16th. As for Prospect, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Hersey on the 16th.
