Football Recap: La Porte's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

La Porte extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Sean Simon. The Bulldogs claimed a resounding 67-21 win over the Porter Spartans thanks in part to Simon, who rushed for 227 yards and one score while picking up 11.9 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 54 yards.

Special teams played a big role in the game for La Porte, adding 21 points to the final score. All those points came courtesy of Truman Mikulin: he added 21 points with seven field goals.

La Porte's record now sits at 6-1. As for Porter, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
