Soccer Recap: Del Rio Takes a Loss

Del Rio was the 3-2 winner over Alexander when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Del Rio Rams fell just short of the Alexander Bulldogs by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Rams couldn't quite close it out.

Del Rio's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 10-3. As for Alexander, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7.

Del Rio has already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against United on the 25th. As for Alexander, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 0-0 draw against Medina Valley on the 25th.
